Making AI
deliciously
approachable
A prelaunch AI-literacy publication for lawyers, physicians, executives, and educators who were never invited to the Silicon Valley conversation. Planned free weekly edition. Honest. No hype.
Four planned sections.
Targeting Thursdays.
One AI concept, explained simply
One concept from scratch — no assumed prior knowledge, one analogy, one concrete thing you can try today. Written specifically for professionals who need precision, not simplification.
One AI tool, honestly assessed
What it does, what users actually say, one thing worth knowing this week. Not a tutorial, not a scored comparison. A practitioner-facing verdict: is this worth your attention right now?
One AI failure mechanism. What it means for your work.
A documented AI failure in professional practice — the mechanism, not the callout. What went wrong, why it went wrong, and how to recognize the same pattern in your own workflow before it becomes your problem.
3–5 AI developments.
Filtered for professionals.
3–5 AI developments curated for professionals. Each item comes with a brief takeaway on why it matters to your work — so you don't have to read 15 other newsletters to stay current.
Three additional sections that rotate in — starting when we launch.
"Can I use ChatGPT to draft discovery requests under Rule 26?" Short, honest professional answers — including "I don't know, but here's how you'd find out."
"If AI catches a diagnostic error your clinical judgment missed and you don't act on it, are you liable?" Competing frameworks. Current legal posture. What to do today.
One real build — a monitoring system, a regulatory intelligence layer, an AI workflow. The decision, the failure point, the lesson. Proof, not theory.
Co-created by two people
who actually use this stuff.
A neuroscientist in law school and an institutional program director. Neither of us came from Silicon Valley. That's the point.
Neuroscientist, JD Candidate at Northeastern Law, AI strategist, and fractional law clerk. She writes the newsletter. All four guaranteed sections, every issue, in her voice.
MBA, MA in I/O Psychology, Executive Program Director. She brings the institutional and corporate training side — workshops, district curriculum licensing, and 1:1 AI coaching for organizations.
The learning ladder
The newsletter builds the mental model. The planned products go further—courses, guides, and teaching editions designed for professional contexts. No checkout or enrollment is open.
Three courses.
One layer at a time.
Most AI courses teach tools. This ladder teaches the mental model first.
Course 1 explains what AI actually is — before you touch any tool. Without that foundation, every tool feels mysterious and every output feels random. Course 2 teaches you to get dramatically better results from whatever tools you're already using. Course 3 brings it into your specific professional context. The ladder works because each course earns the next.

6 legal tasks where ChatGPT earns its place, 4 where it creates liability risk, and what ABA Formal Opinion 512 actually requires under Rules 1.1 and 5.3. Prompt templates for case prep, memo drafting, and contract review — each marked where attorney review is legally required before use.

Published work,
packaged for teaching.
Published articles from active research and journalism in cannabis law, psychedelic medicine, and biophilic design — each paired with a teaching apparatus: discussion questions tied to specific claims, case studies from the legal and scientific record, and framework summaries for seminar or lecture use. Priced by audience type so the same content reaches undergraduate and doctoral programs at the appropriate rate.
The PDF is the same. The price reflects the institution using it.

Two people.
Both practitioners.
"AI literacy isn't about knowing every tool. It's about having the mental model to evaluate any tool — and the judgment to know when not to use one."
We built AIAPC because we couldn't find what we wanted: a newsletter written for credentialed professionals, in their register, without the hype. So we made it ourselves.
Different lanes.
One standard.
RN writes the newsletter. Vanda runs the institutional side. The work doesn't overlap because it doesn't need to — each of us is doing exactly what we're built for.

- Mini-guides, courses, and digital products
- Legal and scientific research threads
- AI workflow development and documentation
- Published journalism in cannabis law, psychedelic medicine, biophilic design

Neuroscientist, JD Candidate at Northeastern Law, AI strategist, and fractional law clerk. RN writes the newsletter — all four guaranteed sections, every issue, in her voice. She's been using AI in regulated professional contexts since 2022, which means she's run into the failure modes that don't make it into the product demos.
Her background is in neuroscience and scientific research, which informs how she thinks about AI: systems that behave probabilistically, not deterministically, require the same rigor you'd apply to reading a study — attention to methodology, skepticism about edge cases, and clarity about what the data can and can't tell you.
She's also a journalist. Her published work spans cannabis law, psychedelic medicine policy, and biophilic design — all fields where the gap between what practitioners know and what the public understands is large, consequential, and rarely bridged well. AIAPC is the same project applied to AI.

MBA, MA in Industrial/Organizational Psychology, Executive Program Director. Vanda runs the institutional side of AIAPC — workshops, district curriculum licensing, team onboarding, and 1:1 AI coaching for organizations navigating AI adoption without a clear playbook.
Her background is in organizational behavior and adult learning, which means she approaches AI literacy the way a program director would: with attention to adoption curves, baseline assessment, and the difference between knowing what a tool does and actually changing how a team works. She's the reason the institutional products are structured the way they are.

Neither of us came
from Silicon Valley.
We came from the fields AI is disrupting: law, medicine, education, research. We know what it feels like to be handed a tool and told to figure it out. AIAPC is the resource we wanted and couldn't find — written by practitioners, for practitioners, without the missionary tone.
